Duties as supervisor helps formulate township policies and supervise their enactment. He participates in the development and approval of the township budget, hiring of municipal employees, moderates all board and annual meetings and the appointments of commission/committee members.

The Clerk is the official custodian of township records, books and documents. She is also responsible for publishing and posting all legal notices, producing and keeping minutes for the township board of trustees meetings. The clerk also handles all accounts payable, payroll preparation, possesses knowledge of elections and the clerk’s role in overseeing the elections process.

The main duties as treasurer is to implement sound cash management procedures and proper handling of funds. She is responsible for the collection and distribution of tax revenues, along with making sure all funds are safely deposited and invested. She also maintains the general ledger, along with accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. She is also responsible for the preparation of the annual township budget with projection of reasonable cash flow.
